Babe Ruth Exhibit Highlights Return of Sports Collectibles to Long Beach Expo

(Long Beach, California) – An exhibit of historic, valuable Babe Ruth memorabilia will be featured at the upcoming Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Collectibles Expo (www.LongBeachExpo.com), May 31 – June 2, 2012, as part of the eagerly anticipated return of sports collectibles to the popular show.  The display by JP Cohen of Memory Lane will include rare baseball cards, autographs and memorabilia, including a Ruth-signed bat.

“The Babe Ruth items will be exhibited in the Collectibles Display area, a prominent new feature for each Long Beach Expo that will showcase outstanding collectibles for public viewing,” said Ronald J. Gillio, Expo General Chairman. “There will be 18 Ruth items in the exhibit with a combined value of $314,000.”
The display will include a 1915 Sporting News M101-15 #151 blank back card graded PSA 4; vintage photographs; a Babe Ruth-autographed single-signed baseball; a paycheck to Ruth; a letter signed twice by Ruth; and a signed Ruth bat graded PSA/DNA 9.
