Free Appraisals Of Collectibles, Antiques And Art At Long Beach Expo, Feb. 4 – 6, 2016

(Long Beach, California) – Heritage Auctions (www.HA.com) of Beverly Hills will provide free appraisals of the public’s collectibles, antiques and art at the Long Beach Coin, Currency, Stamp & Sports Collectible Expo, February 4 – 6, 2016, in the Long Beach Convention Center, 100 S. Pine Ave.
“Heritage is the largest auction house founded in the United States, and we encourage the public to bring their collectibles and antiques for free appraisals from Heritage’s experts,” said Cassi East, President of the Long Beach Expo. “In addition, representatives of the United States Mint will be at the show displaying and selling examples of their latest gold and silver coins and commemorative medals.”
Complimentary appraisals will be available from Heritage Auctions in these categories:
Americana and Political; Space Exploration; Arms & Armor, Civil War and Militaria; Coins and Currency; Comics and Comic Animation Art; Decorative Art, Silver, Vertu, Asian Art; Entertainment and Music Memorabilia; Vintage Guitars; Fine Art; Fine Jewelry, Watches and Timepieces; Luxury Accessories; Rare Wine; Rare Books and Historical Manuscripts; Texana; and Sports
“More than 500 collectibles dealers from around the country will be buying and selling rare coins, gold, silver, paper money, stamps, sports memorabilia, estate jewelry and other collectibles during the show. There also will be about a dozen collectors’ club meetings and other educational seminars open to the public,” said East.
On Saturday, February 6, youngsters can get free prizes during a treasure hunt, and the Long Beach Stamp Club will give away vintage, collectible postage stamps to children to help them start a collection.
Show hours are Thursday and Friday, February 4 and 5, from 10 am to 7 pm, and Saturday, February 6, from 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for seniors and children aged 8 to 16; however, free admission coupons are available in advance online.
