Superb Proof Copper Coins At September 2010 Long Beach Expo

(Long Beach, California) — The first West Coast exhibit of superb-quality proof Half Cents, Large Cents, Indian Head and matte proof Lincoln Cents from the award-winning ESM Collection will highlight the Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Collectibles Expo (www.LongBeachExpo.com), September 23 – 25, 2010. The show will be held in the Long Beach, California Convention Center, 100 S. Pine Ave.
“The ESM Collection ranks among the all-time finest of its kind in several PCGS Set RegistrySM categories. The weighted grade point average for the collection is nearly 66, and that is unquestionably extraordinary,” said Ronald J. Gillio, Expo General Chairman.
“Many of these early copper coins are still brilliant red in color, and some of them even have cameo proof surfaces. This will be the first time that highlights from these sets assembled by Illinois collector Pete Miller will be displayed on the West Coast, and I expect they’ll attract a lot of attention among collectors and dealers.”
The exhibit will be at the Professional Coin Grading Service booth (#807).
During the three-day Long Beach Expo more than 1,000 dealers will be buying and selling rare coins, paper money, stamps, postcards, historic documents, antiques, estate jewelry and other collectibles. Some dealers will provide free, informal appraisals for visitors.
