The Sept. 5-7 Long Beach Expo concludes 2019 show year at the Long Beach Convention Center

Leading Rare Collectibles Expo Now Open to the Public Featuring a $10 Million Ancient Coin Collection, NFL Autograph Session and More

Long Beach, Calif. – Sept. 5, 2019 – The Long Beach Expo, leading coin, currency, stamp and sports collectible show on the West Coast, kicks off its September expo today through Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at the Long Beach Convention Center Hall A, featuring over 500 of the world’s top rare collectibles dealers and an unforgettable lineup of show events and attractions.
The September expo is the final show for the 2019 calendar year, and will feature an assortment of rare collectibles exhibits and opportunities including a new $10 million installment of the Tyrant Collection ancient coin exhibit and an autograph session with NFL Oakland Raiders champion Odis McKinney, along with additional highlights listed below.

Show Highlights include:
The world’s largest collectibles auctioneer, Heritage Auctions, will host its U.S. and World Coins and Currency Signature Auctions live at the expo through Sept. 7.
The world’s most valuable rare coin collection in private hands will return to the expo with its fifth exhibition installment, entitled Tyrants of the Seine. The one-of-a-kind French collection contains coinage from the Visigoths, Merovingians, Carolingians, Capetians, Bourbons, and the Napoleonic empires.

Newly-identified 1942 High Relief Lincoln Cent Pattern display: Stop by the PCGS Set Registry booth to see Patterns for all types of collectors, featuring the one-of-a-kind 1942 High Relief Lincoln Cent Pattern, along with other PCGS-graded coins that are a part of the Complete Patterns, Die Trials and Experimental Pieces Registry set.

PCGS on-site grading opportunities: The official grading service of the Long Beach Expo will be on site grading coins and accepting take home submissions. Stop by the PCGS booth for additional details and to check out their exclusive show grading specials.
PCGS “Meet the Expert” sessions: Steve Feltner, PCGS Director of Numismatic Education and Outreach, and Jeff Howard, PCGS Senior Grader, will be at the PCGS booth Friday, Sept. 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to answer questions and provide insights to collectors of all ages and experience levels – an extremely rare opportunity to meet and speak with PCGS graders!
The U.S. Mint September show appearance presents a rare West Coast opportunity for expo visitors to buy Mint products firsthand, hot off the press.
Odis McKinney, a nine-year professional football player and Oakland Raiders Super Bowl XV and XVIII champ, will be at the expo Autograph Pavilion Saturday, Sept. 7 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. for a fan meet-and-greet autograph session. McKinney’s signatures are extremely rare, so don’t miss this unique opportunity!
