Tommy Lasorda, Kenley Jansen, A.J. Ellis and Darryl Strawberry at September 2013 Long Beach Expo

(Long Beach, California) — Dodgers Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 28, 2013, at the Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Sports Collectible Expo (www.LongBeachExpo.com). The all-star autograph line up will feature Baseball Hall of Fame member Tommy Lasorda and L.A. Dodgers stars A.J. Ellis, Kenley Jansen, and Darryl Strawberry.
Dodgers’ faithful revere Tommy Lasorda as the manager of the Dodgers’ two most recent World Series titles, in 1981 and 1988, respectively.
Lasorda will be joined by former Dodgers outfield Darryl Strawberry. After a successful start to his career in New York, Darryl enjoyed an All-Star season with the Dodgers in 1991, hitting 28 home runs and driving in 99 runs.
Current Dodgers A.J. Ellis and Kenley Jansen round out the autograph line-up. Ellis has backstopped the Dodgers staff to the third best team ERA in the National League as the Dodgers continue their healthy lead in the NL West. Jansen has already reached 100 strikeouts on the season, the first Dodgers reliever to do so since Jonathan Broxton in 2009.
“Representatives of PSA/DNA Authentication Services will be available to immediately certify the signatures,” said Cassi East, President of the Long Beach Expo, a division of Collectors Universe, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLCT). “The show also will feature some of the top sports memorabilia dealers in the country buying and selling historic sports treasures.”

The three-day Long Beach Expo will be open to the public, Thursday to Saturday, September 26 – 28, in the Long Beach, California Convention Center, 100 S. Pine Ave. Specific times and fees for the September 28 autograph guests and the optional certification can be found online at www.LongBeachExpo.com.

The Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Sports Collectible Expo is open to the public for buying and selling sports memorabilia, gold and silver, rare coins, vintage paper money, rare stamps and other collectibles and estate jewelry. There will be daily drawings to give away a special collectible item to a lucky, registered visitor.
The show will be open to the public Thursday and Friday, September 26 and 27, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, September 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
